SAVE MORE PITBULLS! Our end goal is to buy land and build a pitbull sanctuary to save the dogs no one else is coming for. We aim to provide a permanent home for some, while others will be available for adoption through our "It Takes A Village" Co-Parenting Program (more info coming soon for that)

Miko’s Rescue Mission Inc. rescued our first dog Baya (fka Belle) from Harbor Shelter on March 30, 2024. We officially became a Non-Profit on May 28, 2024 and a 501(c)3 Organization on September 25, 2024.

We are based out of Simi Valley, CA which is approximately 1 hour outside of Los Angeles!

Currently, our dogs are available to those living anywhere in the State of California, with Southern California being ideal. We will also consider someone who lives in or near Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO. One day, we hope to expand to allow out-of-state adoptions into additional states/areas.

Miko's Rescue Mission Inc. focuses on saving at-risk pitbull type dogs from high-kill shelters in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties.

Unfortunately, we CANNOT TAKE YOUR DOG. We typically DO NOT accept dogs from people trying to rehome their dogs, but we are happy to offer assistance and resources (sometimes financial) to help you keep your dog, just reach out and ask!
